A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its response. Sherman County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.

An email sent to the resource may be retained so a reply can be provided. The message is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
